Almost a
decade ago there was no digital system or digital technology which will show
the patient data using the tracking device and which will be helpful to
diagnose the disease and will link between causes and symptoms. Now we see
there are so many devices such as wearable devices e.g. digital wrist band to
collect the data of an individual and technology which will be used to store
and process this data to provide actionable insights to the doctors or patients
so that they can take further decisions based on the data. This has helped so
many doctors in diagnosing the complicated diseases as well as reducing the
number of deaths caused by the medical error which was never been possible
before. Most of the hospitals are now using big data/Hadoop systems in-house to
leverage the technology benefits for the patients and also to reduce the burden
on the nurses and doctors in physically monitoring every patient.
