Dirty
data is the data which is not trusted one or not authentic in nature, so it’s not
a good approach to rely completely on such data for business operations. Taking
example of sales operation wherein primary stage is the suspect database
building and this needs to be perfect in order to approach them for sales. It’s
very difficult job to the email ids and contact numbers of suspects who can be
your probable customers in future from the internet as there is so much data
available on the internet and it’s very difficult to trust on one particular
source as very few are trusted ones. There can be multiple profiles of same
person available on the internet and all of them looks to be alike, so it’s a difficult
job to choose the trusted or verified data from this data pool. There are ways
to get the trusted data but these ways are very expensive for a small company.
